Our house at 3741 Lurline Drive was up Maunalani Heights overlooking Diamond Head and the whole expanse of Waikiki. The view from the lanai (deck) of the house was fabulous. We spent part of several home leaves in the house, and actually lived and went to school there for the fall of 1967, before returning to Bangkok in December.
On arrival in Honolulu during the summer of 1967, the Sullivan kids were:
Denny (age 20, U.S. Marine Corps, California)
Mike (age 18)
Maureen (age 16)
Jerry (age 14)
Pat (age 12)
Jamie (age 9)
Chris (age 7).
